Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is an actor famous for her character Bo in The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was made in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk were the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and teaches drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with earliest memories of watching and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials while she was an infant. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto for further development of her acting career in November 1999, and during the next decade, she moved to Los Angeles California. Silk met her spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's workshop located in Los Angeles in 2007. In 2009, they were married civilly in December 2009. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's converted to Judaism. Silk had an infant son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on 13 May 2016. Silk's television work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she got the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk told fans of the show her good announcement that she became pregnant while filming the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase during a special Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the premiere. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that the production was set to begin on Season 4. In June of 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her role as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top TV Couples. E! named the couple as the top Television Couple in 2013.
